Triple parker

Table of contents

Triple parkers are suitable either for a detached house with a small garage or for an office building with little underground parking space in width, but with a basement of sufficient depth (or height).

The ability to park three vehicles in one system elegantly proves that there are perfect parking systems for every requirement. Triple parkers can also be installed several times in a larger underground car park if it offers a lot of space downwards (or upwards to the lowest floor) from the outset, but comparatively little space. The basic principle is to use the parking space more efficiently by parking three vehicles on three levels above each other. They stand almost or completely horizontally on their respective platforms. The required floor space is somewhat larger than a single parking space because it also has to accommodate the technology of the parking system. The triple parker is the most cost-effective solution for high land prices in the city center: it offers three parking levels on one driving level or parking space. These are, of course, driven on horizontally when parking and unparking.

Specifications of the triple parker

Typically, cars with a height of up to around 170 cm can be accommodated in this parking system. Triple parkers are not really suitable for vans. The platform can be around 270 to 500 cm wide and can usually be loaded with up to two tons. The system works with low-wear hydraulics and the maintenance costs are low. It goes without saying that the systems carry a CE mark and are inspected by TÃœV. The system usually requires a pit. Today’s modern systems allow a high degree of diversity. In the past, the pits were dug in rigid 15-cm increments, but variations in 5-cm increments are now possible. The technology is also so compact today that a lower ceiling height (often 5 to 10 cm less) is required than with older models. The vehicle heights remain the same as before. Among other things, such improvements were achieved by optimizing the platform drainage.
