Which garage dimensions are ideal for my vehicle?
To determine the garage dimensions, you need to consider the following factors:

One of the most important questions when determining the garage dimensions is the vehicle in question. The height, length and width should be measured or checked in the vehicle documents. Don’t forget to factor in the length of the wing mirrors and measure how wide the car is with the doors open. After all, the garage should be wide enough for the whole vehicle. If the space conditions allow, plan additional space on both sides. In addition to the dimensions of the car, it also depends on how confident the driver is when parking. How much space does the driver need to the left and right of the car? Sufficient space must be allowed for entering and exiting the vehicle. However, the whole thing also has a disadvantage, namely that such garages are considerably more expensive than the finished ones.
Standard garage sizes
Even if the dimensions are not standardized, you can choose from a range of standard sizes. The standard dimensions for a single garage are 3 x 6 meters with a minimum external width of 2.5 meters. In addition to the parking space for your car, you can also plan for additional storage space when purchasing. Widths between 2.5 and 4 meters are possible. If the width is longer than 5 meters, it is referred to as a large-capacity garage.
The dimensions for a double garage for two vehicles are usually 6 meters. These garage dimensions can vary depending on requirements. A double garage is usually divided in the middle.
