Analog parking systems

Briefly explained

Mechanical constructions in the form of lifting tables to create additional parking spaces for vehicles using analog technology are called analog parking systems. Such systems were the first of their kind, long before digital technology existed.

Detailed information

Analog parking systems can double or even triple the existing number of parking spaces vertically and are characterized by the fact that they can be operated easily and directly by the user. The operating elements follow the same principle as the classic loading ramps used in logistics. By simply pressing the corresponding buttons, the lift table can be moved up and down with all shelves or, depending on the version, only the upper platform.

Variants

For the design of the parking space itself, it does not matter whether it is operated digitally or analog. In this respect, analog parking systems can also be used in almost all standard designs. They are available both with and without a pit and with two or three levels; in principle, they are used wherever manual operation by the user is directly possible. This does not apply to fully automatic parking systems in particular, which means that analog technology cannot be used there.

Possible applications

Thanks to their simple operation and robust technology, analog parking systems are useful both in the private sector and in underground garages of smaller buildings as well as large building complexes. The range of possible applications extends from retractable single or double parking spaces to use on large parking decks.

The advantage of user-friendliness characterizes such parking systems in particular because not all people find it easy to use digital operating elements in the form of displays. Even though digital systems are just as easy to use in principle, not everyone finds this form of technology easy to access.
Analog parking systems allow users of all ages and even those without a particular affinity for modern technology to use such parking spaces.
